June 21st marked Father’s Day, a day to celebrate all the hard-working dads out there.
And this Sunday at Goose Spit in the Comox Valley, kids and their dads enjoyed the 29th annual Father’s Day Kite Fly! Families were invited to bring their kites and let them soar during the beautiful Sunday afternoon.
One of the event’s organizers, Louise, says judges were on hand and delicious hot dogs.
Prizes were handed out in categories like best stunt kite, oldest flyer and best homemade kite during the 29th annual Father’s Day Kite Fly at Goose Spit.
