New Courtenay Fire Truck ready to roll

Some state of the art new rolling stock for the Courtenay Fire Department has hit the streets.

Courtenay Fire Department Deputy Chief Kurt MacDonald says the new rig offers incredible pumping capacity, and has the latest safety features.

MacDonald says the price tag for the new fire truck is pegged at 600-thousand dollars and it was built by a manufacturer in Winnipeg.
