Easter event in Comox set for next Saturday

Comox Valley residents can meet the Easter Bunny in person at Filberg Park, starting next weekend.

Hosted by The Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association, the Easter in Filberg Park event will have a new bunny trail for families to walk through, along with the opportunity to take a photo with the bunny at their pop-up photo booth.

Entering contests to win prizes, story time with Fairy Dazzle, grabbing a hot dog and drink, making a craft to take home, building Lego with friends, and playing outdoor games are other activities residents can take part in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The association says that last year’s event saw over 500 children attend, and they hope that this year’s event will see a bigger attendance.

All proceeds from this event will help support the maintenance of the Filberg Lodge and park, according to the association.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 8.
