Service challenges affecting BC Transit customers in Comox Valley

You can expect some disruptions to your upcoming bus ride, as BC Transit is dealing with short-term service challenges in the Comox Valley.

They say that the challenges come because of a current labour shortage, resulting in altered schedules and cancelled trips on short notice.

BC Transit says they understand the impacts these disruptions have on their customers and are making sure to notify residents as soon as possible.

Alerts are issued on Transit’s website once a trip cancellation is made, with Transit advising residents to use NextRide and the Transit App.

The labour shortage is expected to last for one week, according to BC Transit.
