There have been reports of an unconfirmed Norovirus outbreak in Port Hardy.
Now it’s not something to get too panicky about, according to Port Hardy’s Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Director, Angela Smith.
She says a few people felt ill after disembarking BC Ferries Northern Adventure in Port Hardy recently.
Smith says they’ve taken a few measures to deal with this, reminding members and local businesses that measures of cleanliness are important, not just in this specific case but as a normal part of business practices.
