“Significant setback” for Raven Coal Mine says CoalWatch Comox Valley
Another significant setback for the Buckley Bay area Raven Coal Mine project–that from CoalWatch Comox Valley spokesperson Jon Snyder on two joint venture partners pulling the plug on the project.
Snyder says his group has formally called on the Environmental Assessment Office to terminate the Environmental Assessment Process.
Two asian companies, one from Korea, the other from Japan, have officially bailed out of the project.
Compliance Energy Corporation President Steve Ellis says they are looking to bring on board new partners for the project.
