Courtenay seeks your feedback on services

The City of Courtenay has launched a new online survey to gather the thoughts and opinions community members have on the city’s budget process, programs, and services.

City manager Geoff Garbutt said the Your Courtenay, Your Voice survey will give city staff the thoughts and priorities residents have on several issues.

“Once complete, the data will help us with priority and goal setting for the services we deliver to the community. We anticipate this will be the first of a series of regularly occurring benchmarking surveys,” said Garbutt.

The survey will be done using a variety of methods, with residents 18 years or older expected to be called at random by a live interviewer.

The survey is also available online, with the deadline set for August 13.
