Celebrating Canada Day in the Valley!

A positive outlook for the city of Courtenay as it celebrates its Centennial. That was one of the themes, along with Canadian pride, at the Canada Day celebrations.

A myriad of people were on hand to show their love for the Comox Valley and the Great White North.

Courtenay mayor Larry Jangula was in attendance, along with many others including Stocky Edwards, who was named the newest Freeman of the City.

And not only was the day a celebration of Canada but it was also a part of the Centennial events in the city of Courtenay. For a full list of festivities, check out courtenay.ca.
