An electrical fire early this morning just after 2 AM at the Courtenay Fish and Game Club on Comox lake has resulted in major damage to the caretakers building, and a large trailer inside.
We spoke with Gold River resident Paul Laviolette who was in the area and saw the blaze up close…
Laviolette says nobody was injured but major damage was done to the structure.
