UPDATE: Missing 13-year-old located

—1:15 p.m.—

Comox Valley RCMP say the missing 13-year-old reported missing has been located. 

They thank the public and media for their assistance.

Police in the Comox Valley are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 13-year-old last seen in Parksville.

RCMP say Storm Sampson was last seen at around 10 a.m. on Aug. 16 and might have been on his way to Nanaimo.

They add he is around 185 centimetres tall (6’ 1”) and weighs around 100 kilos (220 lbs) and was last seen wearing pink shorts and a white t-shirt.

Police ask that if you see Sampson or know of his whereabouts to call Comox Valley RCMP non-emergency line at 250-338-1321.
