Police seeking witnesses after sexual assault reported near Puntledge River

Comox Valley RCMP are looking for witnesses after a sexual assault was reported near a rope swing along the Puntledge River.

Police say the incident reportedly happened on Sept. 2, and they are looking for anyone who may have been in the area between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321. They add no further details will be released because of the sensitive nature of the investigation.
