The third Comox Valley Spirit Walk is now underway for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
The event is run by the MIKI’SIW Métis Association and the Indigenous Women’s Sharing Society, with the goal of giving people the chance to show support to the Indigenous peoples of Canada.

Education is another goal for this walk, with today’s event having large posters showing the timeline of residential schools.
You are asked to wear orange for this event, which will be taking place at Simms Millenium Park from 11 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
