Just a heads up for anyone looking to take a dip in the Courtenay outdoor pool today.
It’s been shut down until further notice.
Crews were called to the scene yesterday afternoon. Some social media speculation had some worried about child injuries but Comox Valley RCMP Constable Don Sinclair says it was a false alarm.
City spokesperson Anne Guillo adds to check the city of Courtenay’s website for updates throughout the day.
