Quite the controversial suspension of a B.C. conservation officer, who refused to kill two bear cubs on the North Island.
Bryce Casavant had earlier been suspended without pay for refusing to kill two black bear cubs in the Port Hardy area recently.
This after their mother was killed for constantly raiding a meat and seafood freezer.
Today, Casavant’s pay was reinstated but his suspension has been upheld.

Casavant took the small bears to the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre in Errington where they are being cared for.
