Even with the recent rainfall, the Village of Cumberland is still under Stage three water restrictions.
The Village entered Stage three restrictions on August 3 because of lower-than-normal water levels in both the Cumberland Creek and Perseverance Creek watersheds.

With the restrictions still in effect, you are asked to continue conserving water to help ensure a safe drinking supply. The restrictions include not watering your lawn, filling a swimming pool, using a non-recirculating fountain, or washing a vehicle.
The Village says the restrictions will likely remain until November.
