Search for missing valley hiker about to be expanded

The Comox Valley is about to inundated with search and rescue teams from around the province, to bolster the exhaustive search for missing Strathcona Park hiker, 69 year old valley resident Sylvia Apps. Goat News spoke with Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue President Paul Berry for an update on the ongoing search operation.

Berry says all family members are obviously anxious to get her back home.

Apps was due back on Sunday from her hike but failed to return…she intially ventured out on her hike on Tuesday of last week.
