North Island MP rolls out accessibility funding

Over $200,000 to 8 organizations throughout the North Island, helping out Canadians with disabilities.

The funding comes through the Enabling Accessibility Fund.

North Island MP John Duncan says the funding spans quite the range and helps out a number of groups.

Duncan adds the Enabling Accessibility Fund has been active for about 5 years and a lot of public infrastructure has benefited from the EAF.

He says just this year alone, $600,000 worth of projects have been approved to help out disabled Canadians.
