Watch out for flooding the next time you park at the Lewis Centre.
That comes from the City of Courtenay, warning that equipment in one of the storm drains isn’t working properly.
This can result in water from the river rising up and into the parking lot whenever there is a high tide.
They ask you to watch for any surface water, with the lot to be partially or fully closed at certain times because of the flooding.
