Nanaimo RCMP are hoping for a little help from the public as they try to find the owners of a camera that was turned in to the detachment recently.

Constable Garry O’Brien says the camera was found June 15th in the water of lower Campbell Lake near Campbell River.

The finder wasn’t able to get it to Campbell River RCMP, so they took it to police in Nanaimo instead.

O’Brien says even though they have plenty of pictures, none of them show anything that gives RCMP a clue about where the family is from. If you have any information, contact the Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
