The BC Coroners Service has now confirmed the identity of a man who died in a deadly crash near Campbell River on Monday.
Officials say 24 year old Lance Henry Eckford of Campbell River was the driver and sole occupant of a pickup truck that was headed south on Highway 19 north of Campbell River early Monday morning about 20 kilometres north of Campbell River.
The Coroner says the vehicle left the highway, and rolled over, and Eckford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate.
