Possible delays expected next week due to catch basin cleaning

Expect some possible delays early next week as crews perform catch basin cleaning in Courtenay.

This type of cleaning focuses on removing grit, sand, sediment, or debris from a catch basin.

Because of the work, Mainroad north island contracting says traffic will be single lane alternating on Comox Road, with possible short delays.

The work will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 22 and 23.
