(Release as of 9:30 AM) – The RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing youth in the Comox Valley.
The 17-year-old female, Amelia Joseph, was last seen on Thursday July 23rd outside the public library in Courtenay. She was seen wearing a red baseball cap, a grey sweatshirt, black track pants, grey running shoes and a black sling style purse.
Amelia may be in the company of her mother.
There is concern for her health as she is under a doctor’s care and it is unknown if she has her medications with her.
If anyone knows Amelia’s whereabouts you are asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321.
