Missing Nanaimo man may be elsewhere on Island, police say

Nanaimo RCMP are appealing to other Island communities to help find a missing man.

A missing persons investigation was started June 2 to locate Cameron Snapski, age 27. Snapski has been experiencing personal struggles and as a result, there’s concern for his safety and overall well-being.

He has been residing at various locations in Nanaimo but police suspect he may have travelled elsewhere on Vancouver Island, and have alerted other detachments.

Snapski is six-foot-four inches tall, Caucasian, heavy-set with blonde hair and blue eyes.

If anyone has information about Cameron Snapski’s whereabouts, they should contact Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
