At the Comox Valley RCMP detachment, the phones have been literally ringing off the hook on yet another phone scam, this one involving a caller claiming to be from the Canada Revenue Agency.
That from Comox Valley RCMP Constable Don Sinclair who confirms several hundred valley residents, thought they were about to go to jail.
Constable Sinclair says the Canada Revenue Agency will usually send a letter through secure mail with any concerns.
The investigation continues on the origin of the bogus phone calls.
