Be ready to slow down while crossing the 5th street bridge, as crews will be cleaning it this Thursday.
In a release, Mainroad North Island Contracting says crews will be cleaning the bridge and drains in the early morning.
As a result, traffic will be single-lane alternating, while the sidewalks will remain open.
They ask you to slow down while driving, to obey the signs, and to watch out for crews.
The work will be from 4:30 to 6:00 a.m. on August 1.
