Members of Cumberland Council are marking Access Awareness Day by taking part in an accessibility workshop today.
Mayor Leslie Baird says they’ll get the chance to experience what its like to navigate when you have mobility challenges.
Baird says it’s also good timing, considering the work going on in the Village.
Baird says the Village is committed to ensuring the community has good accessibility and these kind of workshops help to keep those issues top of mind while they are doing their planning.
