Celebrating Library Month

This October, Vancouver Island Regional Libraries are celebrating Canadian Library Month.

VIRL Communications Officer Natasha Bartlett says all 39 branches will be hosting Welcome Back Week to invite everyone to the library, return all overdue materials, and have those outstanding costs waived.

Bartlett notes they will remove $20 from anyone’s outstanding account, and put you on a small payment plan to take off the rest.

She says one of the libraries’ mandates is to ensure they are providing universal access to all the resources they have.

Welcome Back Week starts on October 23rd.
