Clear windows before hitting the road

RCMP is reminding residents to make sure windows are clear before you hit the road in the morning.

We’ve had temperatures drop close to freezing the last few nights. Constable Rob Gardner says it’s important that all your windows are cleaned off before you start to drive.

Gardner says it’s also important to remember that if there’s frost on your windshield, there’s likely to be ice on the roads.

RCMP is also reminding people that the speed limit is for ideal conditions and to give yourself extra time on your drive to work.
