Section of Courtenay Riverway to be closed next Monday

COURTENAY, B.C. – Residents can expect to take some detours along the Courtenay Riverway walk next Monday, March 5th.

Crews will be working on some construction at the adjacent Riverside Senior Living Complex at the Westerly Hotel.

The trail will be closed in a section just north of the 17th Street Bridge, as well as the Riverside Lane entrance behind the Rexall Drug Store. The trail will be inaccessible around the construction area. Detours will be posted from 11th Street to Cliffe Avenue, or from 19th Street to Cliffe Avenue.
