COURTENAY, B.C- The Comox Valley RCMP seized a gun found in the bushes along Ryan Road today.
Officers were present along the hill around 10:00 a.m. this morning, with the downhill lanes close to where the gun was found partly cordoned off with traffic cones.
What appeared to be a long-barreled firearm was picked up from the bushes close to a service building, and taken away by police.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information about the gun is available at this time.
