An ambulance has flipped on Highway 19.
It was pictured on its back in the centre of the meridian, just north of Chef Creek.
A representative from the Deep Bay Volunteer Fire Department said there was no extrication necessary, and both paramedics appeared to have gotten out of the ambulance on their own.
She couldn’t say if there were any injuries.
Passerby Gary Mugford said both female attendants were outside the vehicle.

“I asked if they were okay and they both said yes,” Mugford said.
Comox Valley RCMP spokesperson, Const. Monika Terragni, said the highway “is a mess” and advises drivers to slow down.
