You can provide input on Cumberland’s future through three engagement events, starting tomorrow.
These events are part of the Village’s official community plan review, a plan that aims to guide growth and change for the community through a long-term vision.
The Village says the plan’s priorities would include housing, economic development, transportation, infrastructure, food systems, and overall community well-being.
Mayor Vickey Brown says they want to hear feedback from residents on these topics.
“Community participation is key to developing effective policy, actions and priorities for the Village,” said Brown.
All three events take place in the council chambers on Dunsmuir Avenue, with each one focusing on different topics.
The first one runs from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by another on Thursday at the same time, with the last event set for May 30 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The Village adds that after these events, they will draft updates to the current community plan, with a draft of the new plan to be shared with you this fall.
