Come together to celebrate 25 years of Sharing the Harvest with an evening of food, friends and festivities on Saturday, October 11th.

LUSH Valley’s Harvest Social is part harvest celebration, part community fundraiser, and all about gathering in good company. Savor a buffet dinner made from Comox Valley-local ingredients, sip handcrafted cocktails, mocktails or locally brewed beer and wine, enjoy classic fair games, a silent auction and raffle, and tap your toes to live music, all in support of LUSH Valley and Comox Valley farmers.

Start the night with a cocktail or mocktail infused with local, seasonal ingredients, or local beer or wine. Then, enjoy a buffet dinner prepared by LUSH Valley Catering in partnership with The Farmer’s Kitchen Food Truck. Each dish will be a celebration of Comox Valley’s farmers, crafted from local ingredients to showcase the rich flavours and abundance of our region, and tell a story about our community—the crops that grow here and the folks that grow them.

The fun won’t stop at the table! Throughout the night, enjoy timeless fair games like cornhole, browse our silent auction for locally-crafted goodies, bid on raffle items, and tap your toes to live music thanks to local musicians (and farmers!) The Broadfork Duo.

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 to help LUSH Valley Share the Harvest for another 25 years. The need for our programs is greater than ever, but rising costs and a decrease in available grant funding continue to create financial pressure. Your support ensures LUSH Valley can continue to support the Comox Valley to gain equitable access to nourishing food through various programs including the Good Food Box, Hot Meals, Healthy Student Meals, Urban Agriculture, Fruit Tree & Farm Gleaning, and Community Kitchens.
