Party in the Parks to be held in Comox Valley

People will be able to enjoy free live music at parks in the Comox Valley Sunday.

The Comox Valley Regional District City of Courtenay, Town of Comox, and Comox Valley Arts are teaming up to hold Party in the Parks.

Events in Courtenay are taking place from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at six parks.

“This awesome event is the result of local governments and Comox Valley Arts working together to build a valley wide party in several locations,” said Courtenay Mayor Bob Wells. “I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy our parks and great local talent as well!”

The concerts in Comox will be held from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at Marina Park, Comox Community Centre, and Filberg Park.

There will also be live music at Merville Hall from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
