Comox Valley Amnesty International invites you to do the ‘write’ thing. Write for Rights is a global letter- writing campaign to bring meaningful change to people and groups who need support to uphold their human rights. This year, our focus is on cases where young peoples’ rights are being violated and action is urgently needed. Among others, we'll be focusing on the situation of young leaders at Grassy Narrows First Nation as they battle mercury poisoning in their water supply.…

PLEASE NOTE: we usually meet on the second Monday of the month, except when it falls on a stat holiday (Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day). In such cases, we will meet the first Monday of that month. There is no meeting in July or August.
