A heads up now from the Comox Valley SPCA, on a brand new born fawn, and mother, on the side of the road just above Crown Isle towards the base, off of Ryan Road in Courtenay
SPCA officials are on scene shielding the animals from traffic in the area, making sure the fawn is strong enough to move on.
Drivers should use extreme caution in the area.
