Zoom session planned for SD71 families to address anxiety around return to classes

Comox Valley Schools wants to help ease the anxiety around sending elementary students back into classrooms. 

With that in mind, the district is hosting an online presentation with Kim Barthel calledSending our Children to School: What  does that mean after the Pandemic.’  

Barthel is an author, teacher and speaker and an occupational therapist with specialties in workshop instruction including trauma informed practice, mental health and other disciplinary services.

 The presentation is open to all district families next Thursday, May 21st from 6:30 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.  

Pre-registration is required and space limited to 500 online participants.
