Joint bid proposed for 55+ B.C. Games in Campbell River, Comox Valley

Let the games begin?

The City of Campbell River is exploring a bid to host a future edition of the 55+ B.C. Games.

City council has directed staff to work with the Comox Valley Regional District on a joint bid that would see events held in both communities.

The proposal will target the 2028, 2029 or 2030 Games.

Council has also approved $37,500 in funding for the B.C. Senior Games Society to support the bid process.

This year’s edition of the Games will be held in Kamloops in September.
