North Island College to connect with smaller communities

North Island College is putting a focus on connecting with its smaller communities.

President John Bowman says the college has a strong presence in its larger centres like Campbell River.

He says one of the priorities is increasing the connection in smaller centres, like the North Island.

He says the College is working with local secondary schools to form a strong relationship with them, and are in the process of redeveloping NIC’s website, along with other initiatives.

Bowman says North Island College is able to offer unique training to serve the needs of each of its communities and its important that the communities knows that these programs are available.
