The Province is reminding drivers to start getting ready for fall and winter driving.
Now that October has arrived, winter tires are required on some provincial highways.
Scott Maxwell with the Ministry of Transportation says it’s also a good reminder to give your vehicle a once-over to make sure it’s ready for winter driving. He notes it’s a great time to check all fluids and windshield wipers to make sure your car is ready for the fall and winter weather.
Maxwell says it’s also a good idea to make sure you have some supplies in your vehicle, should you have car trouble in cold weather.
