RCMP reminding drivers to be safe in changing weather conditions

RCMP is reminding residents to slow down with the storms in the forecast.

Constable Rob Gardner says Mounties recently nabbed several drivers who were excessively speeding on the highway.

He says it’s important that drivers watch out for pooling water and branches and debris on the roads. He asks drivers to make sure they are not speeding and to slow down when turning corners.

Gardner says we’re into the time of year when the weather can change quickly, so it’s important that drivers be prepared for fast-changing conditions.
