Big coastal storm stalking the region

A major storm is set to pound parts of the south coast tonight, including the Comox Valley and Campbell River area.
BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says the remnants of Hurricane Ana will hammer our region, but BC Hydro crews are out in full force and ready to respond.

Watson says storm surges are expected, with a high tide projected for around 10 AM on Tuesday morning…

Wind warnings are up around the region, and residents should be prepared for some power outages overnight.
