The City of Courtenay is not about to back off on their highly controversial lawsuit against the Maple Pool Campground over issues linked to zoning compliance on potential flooding concerns.
Jet News spoke with Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula after city officials emailed out a news release stating legal action will continue.
Jangula admits this is a very challenging issue.
About fifty residents of the Maple Pool Campground could be out on the streets if the campground is ultimately shut down.
