COMOX, B.C. – Residents gathered together in Comox this morning for a rally against North Island fish farms.

Attendees met up at the Little Red Church and walked along Comox Avenue.

This morning’s demonstration followed similar a event in Courtenay on June 13.

The goal of that event was to get the attention of the provincial government.

The B.C. NDP has until June 20 to either renew the licenses for 20 fish farms in the Broughton Archipelago, or let them expire.
