Cougar cub spotted in Courtenay moved to Mainland Zoo

A cougar cub spotted in Courtenay has been relocated the the Greater Vancouver Zoo.

The young animal, approximated to be about four months old, had been spotted in different locations around town alone, including near Courtenay Elementary.

After responding to numerous reports, BC Conservation officers tracked down the cub near the Courtenay River.
