Businesses affected by the Comox Valley Regional District’s “Do Not Flush” order in late May are being asked to provide feedback to the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber is seeking input from businesses in Comox and Courtenay to better understand the economic and operational impacts of the event and support future business continuity and emergency preparedness planning.
The request follows a sewer leak at the Comox Pump Station near the Comox Marina that prompted a “Do Not Flush” order during the afternoon and early evening of May 26. Some businesses closed for the day because of the order.
