Drop, cover and hold on! Those are the 3 key things to remember once an earthquake hits, according to emergency program coordinator Mike Fournier.

Tomorrow marks the Great British Columbia ShakeOut.

Fournier says some may think the best option when a quake hits is to get as far away from the building as possible, but that’s not actually the case.

He says the drill’s been going on for about 5 years now, and more and more people take part every year. He says it’s good to be prepared wherever you are, whether that be at home or at work.
