Queen of Burnaby passenger suffers medical emergency
A medical emergency on the Queen of Burnaby triggered a 90-minute delay on the Powell River to Comox run this morning. BC Ferries spokesperson Deborah Marshall explains.
Marshall says BC Ferries staff provided medical assistance to the passenger while the ship headed back to Powell River.
No word on the man’s condition, but Marshall confirms he was conscious when transferred to an ambulance in Powell River. Ferry service was back on schedule with the 3:15 sailing out of Comox.
