Just in time for the stormy season, the BC Government has approved funding to help those in need over the winter season, to get some shelter from the cold wet weather.
Comox Valley MLA Don McRae says the 15 temporary spaces will be set up in the Salvation Army Pidcock Emergency Shelter.
McRae says this is just one component of a province wide initiative.
Those temporary spaces are available from now, through to March 31st, when extreme weather alerts hit the Comox Valley.
