With the flood threat diminishing, the Courtenay Recreation Lewis Centre has re-opened at 3:00 pm today.
Susan Murphy, manager of recreation services, advises that people will be able to use the Wellness Centre, play squash and visit the office. However, please note that all programs scheduled today at the Lewis Centre are cancelled.
Normal operations at the Lewis Centre resume tomorrow (Friday, December 12) with all scheduled programs running with one exception. The Special Needs Winter Wonderland Dance scheduled for tomorrow will be cancelled due to the Boil Water Advisory.
The LINC Youth Centre will require a bit more work and will be closed today and tomorrow. Stay tuned for further updates.
